Preparation

Firstly, ensure that the area you are painting is clean, dry and free from grease, dust and flakes. If you're painting radiators, they must be cold.

  • Use a fine sandpaper to file down any loose paint on woodwork
  • Fill any cracks or holes with an appropriate filler
  • Dust down the surface prior to painting it

Application

We recommend that you test a small area first, to make sure that you're happy with the finish.

  • Use a good quality, clean brush to apply a thick, even coat of paint.
  • It's important that you do not spread the paint too far, as this may result in needing a second coat, especially if the colour is a lot lighter than the colour underneath.
  • If you do need to apply a second coat, leave at least 16 hours between coats.
  • Newly painted doors and windows must not be closed and radiators must not be heated until paint is completely dry.

Aftercare & Storage

Store the paint in a dry place with the lid securely fastened and protect it from temperature extremes
